I am an advanced paramedic practitioner and paramedic independent prescriber with a interest in acute medical illness, especially acute neurological presentations. My MSc research project focused on paramedics self reported experience and confidence in neurological assessment. I am currently working in a busy stand alone urgent care centre in Enfield. My day to day responsibility involves coordinating a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to see, treat and discharge up to 190 patients per day. I am an adaptable autonomous clinician seeing patients with a full range of medical and traumatic presentations across the lifespan. Prior to this I have held roles across the NHS Ambulance service as a paramedic solo responder and practice educator. I maintain currency practising in the ambulance setting within the London Ambulance Service. I aspire to be a consultant paramedic within the field of urgent care and admission avoidance.Keen to expand my portfolio in event consultancy, training and education and as an expert practitioner or expert witness.
