    • I led development teams of Industrial Electronics Protection products including overload motor protection, voltage monitors, transfer switches, timers, etc. Microcontroller driven products with sensory inputs and solid state or electromechanical outputs.     I worked on research projects for switched reluctance motors and drives to optimize motor efficiency. My specific role was magnetic circuit design. I was able to iteratively improve the performance of the machines from an efficiency standpoint. I used Ansys Maxwell to perform electromagnetic finite element analysis (FEA) to model and simulate the magnet circuits before physical build and test.I contributed to design review portions of the power electronic inverters up to 5kW by simulating the circuits using Ansys Simplorer.
