I've been working with Scribbler to bring to market their wholesale systems, in a team of originally 2 of us PT. With 1 more added it's been a very lean development team. During this time, we created an AWS infrastructure that integrated with a well know retail brand. The software itself was responsible to traslating sales data and forecasting re-supply. We've also been working on delivering an entire new web experience for the Scribbler customers. With a refined UX, leveraging our knowledge of the market and past development works to create a custom front end render solution for POD card products and the ability to scale that past cards. The system is again mostly based in AWS using a dockerised container deployment system and currently achieve 5 five 9's. This is integrated into Shopify to create a hybrid site that benefits from the core components of Shopify whilst also giving the flexibility needed to sell in this particular market. All of this has been delivered using Agile methodology and managed through JIRA with all of the UX/UI being managed in Figma. An enormous challenge and one still working through stages of development. As you can imagine with such a small and not full time team. However, the potential for this system is looking pretty good.

LFDR is a fast paced F2P metal mobile game based around the music and adventures (that may or may not have happened IRL) of British metal band (that I am also in) Hollow Crown. My work on LFDR has taken a while, as I spent the majority of the time building up Lionheart Applications to be able to finance the execution of LFDR. The development triangle really was in full effect here so we opted to go slow, retain high quality and balance the spend across the project. Having learnt a huge amount about game design, this certainly won't be the last Lionheart game but for a first one… It's looking pretty great! LFDR is designed around the one of the Hollow Crown songs from the EP, 7th Gate. In that song we recite the Sanskrit of the Garuda mantra, offering out to the world the energy needed to unlock the Padmanabhaswamy Temple's long time sealed Seventh Gate (or Gate 6B as it's sometimes referred too… Little less catchy tho) After successfully (albeit accidentally) unlocking the gate. All hell breaks out onto Earth! A huge percentage of People are instantly transformed into monsters and servants of the evil overlord Stevaleous (or Steve for short) But luckily HC and their trusty road man Gary were unaffected… And now with magic back in the realm of man, it's up to you to save this world from the terrible monster and defeat Steve once and for all. With amazingly curated, beautifully designed animations from A Prods amazing team with over 30 years experience. Entwined with our custom build software. Designed to be robust, easily deployable, inexpensive to run and instantly scaleable. Hoot is still going through testing but we are currently looking for investment to take us through to the launch stage.

Whilst working at Funky Pigeon I have been responsible for the entire new suite of app's. When I joined FP were only on iPhone. Now after just over a year and with the help of Simon Purnell and Red 7 we are about to complete the entire collection. iPhone, iPad, Android, Android Tablet, BB10 (Z & Q), Windows 8, Windows Phone 8. During this last year Simon and myself have business cased, scoped, researched, planned, managed and tested each of these apps individually. I have learnt a hell of a lot about mobile commerce and mobile development as well as e-commerce and traditional retail. I have also maintained a healthy relationship with our 3rd party developer Red7 and continued to expand the business' offering with our own style and flare. Despite occasionally being a constrained resource. (nothing that coffee and a late night won't fix)On-top of that I also created the initial scope for the new FunkyPigeon editor. This I created after extensive market research and competitor analysis and then submitted it to the core business for approval. After all the bells and whistles were attached the core remained the same (templates, drag & drop, side controls, photo editor, easy & advanced) Go take a look to see for yourself. www.funkypigeon.com I am also now tasked with constructing a social road map for both FP & WHS respectively. I have become much more engaged with the WHSmith side of the business, assisting with both the mobile site development plan and also constructing the mobile app plan and justifying the business case for it's development. While working at FP for only a short time I have a long list of achievements. This is down to great management and an uncompromising style of work. I get things done to the best of my ability in the shortest possible time. If I can't do it or I don't understand I ask or I research. Something mighty this way comes!

I'm the lead singer and frontman to the funky rock/pop sound that is The Chase. I also use my business knowledge to create ideas and self promotions strategies for the band. As well as handle the majority of the business surrounding us as a band. I am also the team leader and manage the guys to make sure we all stay happy and on track. Unfortunately The Chase reached a boiling point and how now dissolved. However I still work creatively with each member of the band and marry them up in the studio I spent the last 6 months building.
