My broad responsibility is to define the future of enterprise architecture for the AHA and then to support the business technology department in the implementation of this architecture. In daily, practical terms this involves working with the Project Management Office at the inception of major projects to evaluate business needs and how to leverage or evolve the existing technology architecture to support those needs. Additionally, I am presently leading the organization-wide business intelligence program to transform the American Heart Association into a more effective non-profit through insights that can be gained through better use of the large amount of data collected daily in all areas of the association.

Lead the IT Competency group within the program to unify IT systems from both the heritage Broadview and ADT solution portfolios. Drive efforts to enhance the core enterprise software (MASterMind) and orchestrate testing and migration work. Provide technical leadership to improve performance and ensure a smooth transitions from legacy ADT billing software.

Provide leadership, definition of enterprise software roadmaps, enterprise architecture, and management of staff and cost center budgets. The software portfolio comprised money processing software, cash-in-transit logistics systems, ATM support systems, and enterprise financial and billing applications. Implemented Oracle E-Business Suite to centralize customer billing to improve revenue management and focus field effort on operations. Provided IT support for implementation of a data warehouse to enable operational cost modeling and improved financial management.Developed annual budgets in excess of $5mm and managed to these budgets by negotiating contracts and controlling staff cost. This budget consisted mainly of staff salary, offshore development services, and software maintenance.

Aligned technology staff to best support business initiatives and implement innovative software to improve field operations and customer support. Drove the efforts to design and implement business intelligence solutions to measure many aspects of operations and finance. Implemented web-based customer self-service solutions to offload significant customer activity from contact centers.Responsible for annual budgets in excess of $3mm consisting of salary, benefits, software acquisition, offshore development, and software maintenance. Member of the executive team that effected the spin-off from Brinks Inc. and then supported the acquisition of Broadview Security by ADT Inc.

Support solution sales efforts through pre-sales consultation and proposal development. Developed and expanded technical consulting staff to meet customer needs and managed this staff in the delivery of projects and through hourly consulting. Managed the delivery operational budget.
