In April 2013 I became the press officer and first employee for the new FIA Formula E Championship - the world's first fully-electric racing series. Joining from the very beginning of the project as the only communications member, I played a key role in establishing the credentials of the series and designing its PR strategy.

Working as the press officer for the international single seater series F2, being responsible for all content on www.formulatwo.com, press releases, race reports, series promotion, social media, media enquiries/accreditation and anything else that comes my way.

I was the media officer for both the Formula Renault UK and Formula Renault BARC series as well as the Clio Cup championship. This entailed handling all media enquiries, race reports, writing news stories, updating the website, press packs, video production and assisting with the running of the championships.

Staff writer on a number of regional lifestyle and business-to-business publications in the north of England. I was also responsible for conducting a number of photoshoots and worked both in the office and out in the field.
