I am a leader with experience in the global services industries and in particular in the contract research organization (CRO) industry, working with pharmaceutical, biotech, hospitals and sites on a global basis. My passion is to be a customer-oriented and persuasive leader which has driven my record in creating value and shaping future opportunities through both growth and margin improvement. With an ability to navigate complex, regulated and fast-moving environments, I combine compelling vision and strategy with practical, disciplined approaches to executing growth strategies. As a public speaker, I have discussed my companies and perspectives on management and pharmaceutical research at many conferences, and in print and television media including being on Mad Money with Jim Cramer a number of times.I have concentrated my career in the business services, healthcare and technology industries. With more than 30 years of experience, I have a combination of global strategy and operations experience spanning pharma, payers, and providers with deep expertise in service and technology providers that support the integrated healthcare industry. I have worked with many other industries globally, such as retail and manufacturing, from his time at Accenture and McKinsey, and much of his career has been in and around technology. I bring extensive experiences, tools and contacts that enable me to assess and address opportunities and issues facing a company. Now I lead Labcorp’s Clinical Development business as president and chief executive officer. This organization has been publicly announced to spin out from Labcorp later this year. I will be Chairman and Chief executive of the independent company. I will leverage my experience to create value for customers, employees, shareholders, and other stakeholders.
