I started working for J Browne Construction as a ganger on reservoirs covering all aspects of internal and external work for South east water and Thames water. During my time as a ganger I completed various tickets including confined space search and rescue, SMSTS, pasma, first aid and many more.

After leaving school at the age of 16, I started working for Chapman Construction LTD installing security fencing. At the age of 18, I moved onto working on the M25 which included capping sheet piles, fitting waler beams, post and four rail and also being a slinger signaller. After 2 years on the M25, Chapmans began to sub contract for Jbrowne Construction working mainly on reservoirs and small civil work. During my time working on reservoirs for Chapmans this is where I gained my knowledge and skills and enabled me to start running my own jobs.
