Park Cameras, in Burgess Hill, England is the head store and operations hub of its two locations. Operating, Burgess Hill and Central London. As a Corporate Sales executive it was my responsibility to provide a sales service to long term business clients and customers that required all aspects of photographic equipment and industry services.My main roles involved direct active sales to customers & clients, organising and running multiple annual national industry trade show sales stands, digital sensor cleaning, renting of high end photographic equipment, assist in retouch editing for printing clients, merchandising store layouts and displays, and running day to day operations whilst also at times assisting in running all other departments. This involved warehouse logistics and dispatch, stocktake and inventory control, senior call centre sales executive and training coach. For a period, due to staff shortages, I was acting call centre manager. Park Cameras aimed to have a very high standard of customer service and photographic experience, to provide the very best in photographic knowledge. I was able to gain valuable business operations experience, and international knowledge from an overseas photographic company.

Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada

(Seasonal Position) Operated out of Canadian Rocky Mountains, Alberta, Canada. As the department head for photography and senior photographer I was responsible for the photographs that were taken during the customer/client helicopter tour experience, post editing of photographs, printing and framing the photographs, along with sales associated with the photographic department. Separate to the day to day imagery that was required, I was also responsible for providing the imagery that associated with the company’s advertising in numerous marketing, websites, tourism endeavours, whilst also assisting the ground and air crew with day to day operations. Adjacent to my role was that of tour health and safety liaison for the tour groups and individual clients flying with Icefield & Kananaskis Heli Tours. This included large group public speaking, and client awareness for the immediate area, where dangers were active around the tour helicopters.

(Seasonal Position) My position was that of the Special Events Coordinator. My objective for the season, was to reach specific daily goals by creating smooth efficient operations for the Special Events Department from the previous years which my team and I were successful at achieving above and beyond what was expected. Whilst promoting a fun energetic work environment for the event participants and my team, I was also maintaining an impeccable level of customer service and public relations between Marmot Basin and client. With a meticulous mountain operations standard along with a high level of productivity, I was able to promote a good work ethic to my team, and if I felt the standard I set for my team was not met we would discuss how we could improve as a team to gain greater results. The Special Events Department would regularly incur periods of excessive manual labour; especially on weekends, for which I would ensure each team member knew their duties for the day and had a task list to follow as well as being aware of participants that may require their assistance. My team and I would work irregular and extra hours to ensure the events ran smoothly to reflect Marmot Basin’s well known reputation.
