I am the Chief Financial Officer for C J with experience in all aspects of accounting and financial management. I have substantial experience in financial reporting to the stockholders and managers, and day to day cash flow management. During my career with C J I’ve had the opportunity to develop and implement our accounting procedures, balancing strong accounting controls with a respect for the needs of the operational staff.As the Chief Technology Officer for C J, I make hardware and software decisions to maximize productivity, ensure regulatory compliance, provide excellent customer service to our clients, and maintain a competitive advantage in our industry. I developed and implemented policies and procedures for our information systems, including disaster recovery plans. I supervised the development of the company’s web site, and manage internet based advertising.At the beginning of my career with C J, my accounting duties included simple payroll functions. As the company has grown, my responsibilities have grown to include the functions of the Human Resources manager. I wrote the company’s employee handbook and developed and implemented our hiring policies and procedures. I advise our managers when making disciplinary and termination decisions. I also supervise all of the company’s benefits programs.Over time my duties have also come to include the functions of the company’s Risk Manager. I manage all of C J’s insurance policies and am responsible for identifying changes to C J’s risk exposures and changing policy limits when required. I became a Licensed Customs Broker in 1995. Understanding our business from the operations perspective has immeasurably improved my effectiveness as an administrator.
