Managing a small team of direct reports, and a wider team of 14. Responsible for allocation of 170 resources, with a focus on utilisation, business performance, alongside people concerns. Additionally responsible for internal projects focusing on technology adoption and implementation across Resource Management.

Transferred to the US firm to continue my Experience Manager role in an FSO audit function. The role focuses on leading resource planning and scheduling for audit teams working in the FSO WAM and Insurance sectors in the West Region of the United States of America.

The role requires the ability to understand and monitor business performance and the issues and challenges facing the practice. Primary focus is the support and build out of an effective Resource Management model and fulfilling engagement resource requests for our largest accounts. This includes working closely with senior stakeholders to meet financial and non-financial objectives. In particular, to optimise the utilisation of resources, improve performance and ensure Operational Excellence is maintained at all times.The responsibilities in the role are;•Responsible for supporting and delivering end to end resourcing solutions to the client facing business. •Supporting headcount management and capacity planning, optimising the utilisation and chargeability of our client facing workforce, providing information to leadership on utilisation levels, key areas of availability, business performance and forecasting to support business decisions.•Forecast financial performance and utilisation levels on a weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual basis using Retain (Resource Management Tool) and EY Financial Reporting tools.•Required to prepare, analyse and present Management Information to senior stakeholders on budget vs. actual, headcount, resourcing and wider operational excellence metrics such as utilisation, Retain accuracy, timesheets•Managing 3 Resource Managers who look after 4 separate area’s between them. •Undertaking ad hoc project work at the request of the Partners and/or Operations Senior Manager.

•Spend time on client sites to gain a thorough understanding of Hiring Manager requirements, specific job roles, culture and organisational objectives.•Provide a consultative recruitment service to the client, advising on candidate availability and demonstrating knowledge of specific geographic and occupational labour markets.•Support recruitment in multiple occupational areas including specialist Housing roles. •Develop and execute effective and innovative sourcing strategies to attract high quality direct applications for roles. •Apply cost effective sourcing strategies including the use of talent pool management, online and offline channels and social media. •Work to challenging contract key performance indicators and service level standards.•Coordinate and manage the use of the Reed branch network and 3rd Party Suppliers to supplement direct sourcing activity or to deliver contingent workers.•Manage the attraction of, and applications from, internal applicants in line with organisational policy and succession and talent mobility strategies.•Attend and support regular assessment events. •Undertake objective selection activity including telephone screening and applicant testing as required.•Seek and use hiring manager feedback to continually improve the quality of short lists. •Provide training and support to help managers use the recruitment service as effectively as possible. •Undertake role specific referencing and vetting activity.

Plan, coordinate and implement Resourcing Management (workforce planning / deployment / talent management) across my competency area and the wilder consulting business. Create and maintain MI for key stakeholders and be a reference point/guardian for key systems such as Retain, Finder, etc.Create lasting relationships with senior stakeholders up to partner level to promote and engage in effective Resourcing.Work with People Managers in regards to their role and responsibilities to enable them to have good quality interaction with their staffManagement of all movements within the business units (joiners, leavers, engagements, secondments, transfers, maternity)

Delivering an end to end recruitment service for designated Specialist roles. Direct sourcing for candidates across a range of disciplines. Managing candidates throughout the recruitment process. Liaising and managing stakeholder relationships to achieve effective recruitment processes from start to finish.Assessing and managing candidates for Direct Line Group, working with high volume intakes across the UK.Resourcing for specialist roles across all fields including CV Mining, Head-hunting, Linkedin connections etc. Developing the recruitment processes in a newly set up HR function.Implementing and maintaining interview techniques.Developing candidate attraction initiatives and initiating.Researching for recruitment projects to help develop new processes.

Working in the FS None Sales market and the General Insurance Market. Sourcing and placing candidates for roles in those areas.I also proactively build longstanding relationships with clients and business to maximize opportunities for both parties. Report MI for forecasting and KPI's. Liaise with other teams to ensure continued successful working relationships by making sure we both work in partnership in crossover areas. Visit clients onsite to conduct the best possible service for their recruitment needs.Communicate effectively at all levels from director to candidate. Proactively promote candidates and jobs using social media and online marketing.
