BondAval is a fintech bringing innovation to the world of B2B payment security.

Responsible for the planning, delivery, and execution of the operations for the inaugural Global Medical Cannabis Summit hosted on Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island. We gathered 40 world leaders including sitting Ministers from Canada and Jamaica alongside the former Prime Minister of Costa Rica. Other attendees also included members of the Global Drugs Commission and world-leading scientists.

Responsibilities included; Designing brand strategy, marketing plan & launch. Stakeholder management, leading roadshows & delivering presentations to institutional investors, securing partnerships with a number of FMCG companies, securing distribution partnerships, business strategy, supported with financial models, recruiting sales team, liaising with regulators.

Grew and managed a P&L consisting of 18 live programs. Producing £120m in annual gross written premium with industry-leading loss ratio’s, delivering (on average) a 35% GP marginSuccess was largely driven thanks to a keen focus on; a) B2B sales execution - securing blue-chip clients (clients secured included; BP, Valero, RyanAir, Booking.com, RentalCars.com), b) Entrepreneurial mindset - utilising technological innovation to provide the best in class service to clients and policyholders.
