Hi, I'm Tom. Throughout my life I have been exposed to many different cultures. Realising that there are always different mindsets brought to the table has become a driving force for my work. This has led to an interest in how products connect, inspire and move people. By this I mean artefacts that lead to a higher degree of motion. Discovering new dynamics. Proficient in design methods, CAD and visualizations. Fluent in German and English, able to understand some Thai. Nearly as important as design are a love for bouldering, traveling, natural wine and cinema. For me, good design can be detached from one‘s own subjectivity. A good design is defined by the client, the context and the collective expertise. It does not always have to meet personal preferences. Sometimes a delivery can be exceptional simply because it has been outstandingly executed.
