Responsible for coordinating Mohawk Alumni Perks – Mohawk’s alumni benefit program, providing event administration support for virtual and in-person events, coordinating the Mohawk Alumni Business Directory and procuring advertising for digital and print media.

As representatives of the community, the Board of Governors of Niagara College is the governing body of the College and has responsibility for fiduciary oversight and institutional performance.The Board of Governors’ mandate is to govern Niagara College by establishing appropriate governance structures, including setting the vision, strategic directions, overall goals and outcomes, hiring and evaluating the CEO, approving the annual business plan, budget and annual report, and assessing attainment of corporate goals and outcomes and effectiveness of board governance. All of its decisions and policies are made for the best interest of the institution, not for particular constituents.

As the Student Recruitment Assistant I work with the On Campus Recruitment Team Leader and other Recruitment staff to ensure that prospective students and guests receive consistent high levels of customer service provided at the front desk, during info sessions and tours, as well as all other campus experiences. I work within the department’s Customer Relationship Management System (Salesforce) to ensure touchpoints with prospective students and influencers are captured. I am responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and supporting NC Expert student staff towards achieving recruitment goals. Raising awareness of NC and it’s programs at various events held on campus, and in the community. Giving personalized and group tours to visitors of the college to help conversion goals. I help to organize, facilitate and evaluate online and phone campaigns to ensure prospective students and their influencers as part of an engagement strategy. Conduct market research to assist the college in decision making about new programs, alternate delivery, additional resources and opportunities. Organize and send out promotional materials, as well as other administrative duties, as required.

NC Experts are the student ambassadors of Niagara College. NCexperts work in conjunction with the Niagara College Recruitment Department, and the Info Centre as liaisons for prospective students and guests at Niagara College. NC Experts lead comprehensive campus tours for prospective Niagara College students, and support all Recruitment activities. NC Experts are to ensure that visitors have a positive and memorable experience at Niagara College. NC Experts are responsible for answering and triaging Info Centre phone inquiries, and providing general clerical support. NC Experts support all major campus events (i.e. College Open Houses, the Educational Pathways Fair, the College Information Fair, etc.). As a NC Experts I have a sound knowledge of all Niagara College services and programs in order to provide prompt, accurate information to campus visitors, and I act as a positive ambassador of Niagara College at all times.

Director of Goodwill Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreates, oversees and evaluates all campaigns for the Student Emergency Food Bank including, but not limited to: Christmas Food Drive, Niagara Day, Niagara College Christmas Party and Day of Reflection. Develops various campaigns in collaboration with community and college to support not-forprofit organizations. Creates appropriate fundraising measures and processes to ensure that activities are profitable for Student Emergency Food Bank and not-for-profit organizations. Works with the Director of Communications to develop appropriate strategies for marketing campaigns and initiatives to the student body. Documents monthly initiatives, including evaluation of campaigns and activities on the College Network Drive. Responds to NCSAC Cares donors with letters of appreciation. Submits monthly reports to Executive Vice President, including, but not limited to: updates, future ideas, and goals for monthly executive meetings. Provides recommendations to the Executive and Board of Directors for community sponsorships and donations when warranted. Recruits, trains, retains and recognizes volunteers for the SAC Team. Develops a volunteer schedule for SAC Team members through requests from fellow Executives. Validates hours, as required, for SAC volunteers’ Co-Curricular Record.
