About Tom Prior
We (3 Metis) and small colonial Canadian support network STOPPED (no wages) old growth clear-cuts on about 20,000 hectares plus in southern interior BC now called " Inland Temperate Rainforest. 2004/2005 Westfall and Incomapleaux River. We assembled against violent criminal logging crews BCTS contractors called Porcupine or Cooper Creek Cedar LTD in the WF, they hired hitmen to whack us. Great time. It played on BCTV news. We stopped and saved very important Mountain Caribou, Wolverine, Grizzly habitat (for now). Next year we assembled at confluence of Incomapleaux and Boyd creek saving ancient red cedar in the back end of Boyd. Wow a miracle took place. We have a Scared obligations to our ancestors and future generation to protect Life on this Planet. Join us. This year we 3 went to Revelstoke and encouraged locals to assemble peacefully at Big Mouth Creek 120 kms to save very important red cedar/hemlock old growth habitat. To date myself and 4 or 6 others have stopped clear-cut industrial logging in upwards of 20,000 hectares of ancient red cedar/hemlock in the southern interior of BC. Our peaceful work of direct action in the Westfall and Incomappleax River drainage for now has prevented BCTS from destroying this very important habitat for Wolverine, Grizzly, Mountain Caribou and other wide ranging species. WE also STOPPED the privatization and damming of at least 2 dozen BC interior rivers/creek for BC Liberal Gordy Campbell's IPP.
