I began my journey as a paramedic in 2009, subsequently earning a BSc in Health Care Practice from St George’s University of London in 2013.Currently, I work as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Paramedic) within Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust’s Urgent Community Response (UCR) team. In this role, I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide proactive, community-based care, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions and facilitating early supported discharges.In parallel, I hold a Practice Development Lead position within the Medical Directorate of South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) and function as an Operations Manager for the Integrated Care (111 & 999) clinical services. These roles have honed my leadership skills and provided extensive experience in clinical decision-making, risk management and strategic leadership.My career is distinguished by a series of significant positions, including Emergency Care Practitioner at an Urgent Treatment Centre in Sussex and IBIS Lead Manager within SECAmb’s Clinical Development Team. Each role has deepened my expertise and reinforced my commitment to continuous professional growth.My educational background is extensive and includes a foundation degree in Paramedic Science, various specialised courses from St George’s University of London, and an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice from the University of Brighton, where I also completed courses in advanced physical assessment, decision making and independent prescribing.I have completed numerous training courses and continuing professional development programs, from NHS Pathways and first line management to advanced life support and specialised courses in venipuncture, catheterisation and tissue viability.
