Responsible for programming equipment for clients. Currently assigned to work on-site at Anheuser Busch, Inc. in Newark. Projects included: Grits Re-commissioning project for Bud Select; Brewkettle Heat Recovery project; Brewing hot water management; and matrix for releasing beer to packaging. Gained experience in process control using PID loops and batch processing as well as various instrumentation products. Also worked on conversion of another client’s plant from Square D PLC to Controllogix, and various construction/HVAC projects. Performed Boiler startup at Hunts Point Wastewater Treatment plant, and performed startup for HVAC panels for that site and Newtown Creek WW Plant, gaining experience with HVAC controls and interface to DCS for plantwide control of HVAC Systems. Also currently serving as safety leader for N.E. region.

Utilized CTC Interact X HMI package and wrote Visual Basic Application for editing Interact X messages and alarms. Also gained familiarity with Emerson Control Techniques drives and FM Modules.

Responsible for supervision of the technical support staff and all aspects of the manufacture of equipment, including design and development, troubleshooting, field service, machine programming and customer service. Developed expertise in the programming of the Intel 8748 family of microprocessors as well as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC); motion control; and vision systems. Implemented Diagnostic programming procedures that drastically cut customers’ down time. Developed Operator Interface and Statistical Process Control program for machines utilizing Visual Basic, which facilitated near zero rejected part rate. Wrote drivers for Allen Bradley SLC-500 family and Gould Modicon controllers. Also wrote many Windows applications, which increased productivity and facilitated efficiency in programming.
