I am currently undertaking the level 4 apprenticeship called ‘Associate Ambulance Practitioner’ which is credited by Futurequals. This is a 13 month apprenticeship, where I work with a qualified clinician and work to the scope of a Technician which involves completing patient assessments for medical and trauma patients, administering various medications and then using my knowledge to come up with a diagnosis and decide the best plan for the patient whilst having an experience clinician with me to offer advice and support.At the end of the 13 months, I will be a clinician called ‘Ambulance Practitioner’. This allows me to work on a double crewed ambulance with a non qualified member of staff.I am also part of the special operations response team (SORT). This training allows me to work within the warm zones of CBRN incidents as well as marauding terrorist incidents (MTA), I have the knowledge to use specialist equipment and different PPE in response to such incidents.

My main role as an Emergency Care Assistant is to assist the clinician with treating the patient(s) to the best my ability within my current scope of practice. I am trained to drive under emergency conditions and to use various different equipment.

My main role was to take patients safely and promptly to their hospital appointments, this including taking vulnerable patients to their chemotherapy/radiotherapy and dialysis appointments. I would also urgent hospital discharges as well as non emergency hospital transfers.

My main job responsibilities being the Property Co-ordinator are dealing with all the maintenance issues that are reported to the office effectively and efficiently. Conduct the tenant viewings, inspections, check in and check out appointments and also carry out the inventory before a new tenant moves in. I also deal with the tenants deposit at the end of the tenancy and deduct any monies from the deposit and arrange contractors to attend if needed.
