My professional life for 25 years has been dedicated to building and strengthening all types of organizations. In the first 10 years of my career, I built and led non-profit organizations focused on community organizing and leadership development. With the learning from that work as a foundation, I then spent 15 years in progressively more challenging leadership roles in County, State and City Government. In my final 5 years in the public sector, I was the City of Portland's Chief Administrative Officer, overseeing 800 employees responsible for revenue and finance, technology, human resources, facilities, fleet, and major projects.My consulting company is dedicated to supporting executives and boards, in both the public and private sectors, as they work to strengthen their organizations and identify and respond to their main challenges.
