CurrentI have over 14 years of progressive responsibility and management within the Department of Education. I began as a data system developer and supervisor, progressed to Assistant Director to develop the new High School Equivalency system. In 2012, I was promoted to Director of Adult Education. In 2013 I was promoted to Coordinator over the Adult Learning section, including the Adult Education, High School Equivalency, and Veterans Education programs.Leadership – Collaborative and encouraging leadership with direct, focused instructions that get results.Developing New Programs – Needs/Gap Analysis using Active Listening and multiple experiences managing a wide range of stakeholders to manage expectations and develop realistic goals that move toward the ideal outcome per program. Project Coordination – Certified Project Manager with the ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneouslyData – Strong experience in Data Collection, Statistical models, Analysis, and using data to develop Improvement models for AccountabilityWorking with Multiple Agencies/Contractors – Effective communication between 18 state and federal agency partners under Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)Redesign of Programs – Designed new structures and implemented new policies and budgets while creating an environment of continuous improvement. I overcame a culture of complacency and because of successful policy changes, Missouri moved from 25th to 1st nationally for student education gain for the last 4 out of 5 years.
