This product makes it possible to deploy a social intranet / collaboration portal in 15 minutes on an Office 365 / SharePoint 2013 / SharePoint 2016 environment. Before the development started, I set some goals for this product:- Everyone should be able to use the product. The question I asked myself: "Why is everyone able to use Facebook, Twitter, etc, but not many are anxious to use SharePoint?" The outcome was that the interface should be simplified and there should be enhancements in usability;- It should be usable on any mobile device / tablet;- There should be a good information structure, so the portal won't be cluttered in a couple of years. This makes it possible to have a well organized portal where people can easily find their information, even when it's in use for years.This product brings improvements on some of the SharePoint features, like a full responsive design, simplified interface, major performance improvements compared to the standard Office 365 sites and a custom theme editor, so the portal can be deployed with a custom look-and-feel. The product is based on a SharePoint hosted app and the rollout is fully automated with Powershell. As a consultant, I'm active in writing proposals, writing technical and functional specifications, creating sales presentations and currently conceptualizing and developing products based on SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online/Office 365. On the technical side, I'm active developing apps and creating the look-and-feel using the latest techniques in SharePoint, like CSOM/JSOM, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS3.
