About Tom Rooks

I'm proud to be part of the USRowing team and hope to make a positive difference in the sport I've been passionate about in since my first time in a shell at Boone High. USRowing is committed to Safeguarding which is the range of measures USRowing employs to promote and protect the welfare of all participants, including their physical and psychological well-being.While I'm no longer the Head Coach or Director of Rowing at Williamsburg Boat Club, I'm honored to have had the role I did for ten years developing our youth and adult rowing programs.I was proud to have had the opportunity to serve in the USCG for 22 years. Be it on a cutter or at a station, the work we did had an impact both for the individuals we tried to assist and the nation we did it on behalf of, that I'll be forever thankful for my small role in it. It has left me with a bias for action and a lot of great sea stories.
