    As a key member of the Contract Analytics team, I have closely collaborated with internal stakeholders from Finance, Forecasting, IT, Legal, Marketing, and Pricing as well as field-based Account Managers to establish approved contracting terms. I have effectively supported the internal and external Managed Care Quarterly Business Reviews data outputs by completing analysis, communicating findings to key stakeholders on supported accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis as well as automating most of the Payer Business Review. With a focus on commercial and government contracting, rebate programs, and trade agreements I was able to ensure Abbvie has the appropriate pricing and contracting strategy in place for our current products, as well as future pipeline products. I was able to focus on improving the effectiveness of pharmaceutical contracting efforts with key Commercial and Government payors through sophisticated analytical methods. My responsibilities included communication on findings, results, and recommendations of analysis/research within and across franchises to improve gross-to-net sales performance while ensuring the quality and accuracy of all analytical results. One of the crucial elements of the job was strengthening the execution of pricing and contracting strategies by testing, refining, and suggesting methods to optimize contracting models and methodologies. I have continued to enhance core Immunology contract analytics model by incorporating Line of Therapy based modeling for new-to-brand product shares, revising patient consumption curves to accommodate indication/ MOA based understanding of patient consumption and other model enhancements.

    What I have enjoyed the most in this role was the immense responsibility of managing, analyzing, and validating processing of Managed Care National Account rebates for all contracted products accounting for over 200 million dollars of monthly rebate payments. I have compiled and reported rebate payment data along with extensive analysis to financial approvers and external consumers making sure of the eligibility of rebates paid to ensure compliance with OEC and government pricing calculation requirements. I have reviewed and interpreted customer agreements for payment accuracy while making sure that all the necessary formulary documentation and medical policy are in place for payment compliance. During my time in the Pricing Team, I performed in-depth detailed sales and TRx analysis to evaluate the plan’s compliance and reviewed performance against contractual objectives as well as reconciled with all required schedules for Plan/Update/S&OP/LRP. Utilizing my excel skills, I was able to design a new KAM package analysis tool to better assist Account Executives by performing more in-depth analysis of the accounts. Once that was completed, I developed a Market Share Tool model to understand product position in the market and to identify possible improvement areas. I have also created custom Market Share models based on account specific measures and requirements. I worked directly with IQVIA to develop and validate utilizing lives database to enable more in-depth analysis of specific plans and historical trends by Rx numbers. Once I started using the SPSS Modeler, I was able to create and customize ad-hoc reporting driven by the available data in the NCPDP file submitted by the PBMs.
