Tom Rourick is the Houston office managing partner for RSM and the South Central Market Leader, which includes Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Louisiana. He works closely with all partners and professionals throughout the market to serve clients and develop business across the audit, tax and consulting lines of service. In addition to his leadership roles, Tom brings more than 30 years of experience and is the relationship and quality control partner for companies in the energy, industrial products and business services industries.Tom started his career with RSM in Des Moines, Iowa in 1987. Since that time, he spent 11 years in Charlotte where he became Partner, and moved to Kansas City where he became Office Managing Partner. He moved to Houston in 2015 and currently leads 25 partners and nearly 300 employees.Tom has several positions at the Greater Houston Partnership, including Chairman of Audit and Risk Committee. He also is on the International Trade Development Committee, as well as the Regional Economic Development Advisory Committee. Tom also recently volunteered his time as a Board Member and Treasurer of LifeHouse Houston. Tom is a CPA, licensed by the state of Texas, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Iowa State University.
