I advise ministers on strategic options to reform the welfare system, provide oversight of c.£300bn forecast government expenditure, and work closely with DWP to understand the underlying trends in welfare spending.Previously, I spent 18 months in the Business and International Tax group, leading on business tax devolution. I advised ministers on fiscal devolution options to local government in England. Alongside this, I maintained strategic oversight over business taxation devolved to the Scottish Government, Welsh Government and Northern Ireland Executive. Show less
