Lead Ecologist with a background in utilities, transport and development. I have experience in both the client and consultant areas of the industry; managing large teams both pastorally and technically, delivering projects from simple asset modifications to full DCOs and EIAs from conception to completion.I have an excellent knowledge of UK and EU wildlife, conservation and environmental legislation. In the field I specialise in British botany, National Vegetation Classification, dormice, reptile and amphibian ecology. I am the Named Ecologist for the Southern Water Organisational Licence for protected species and I also hold dormouse, barn owl, beaver and great crested newt Natural England Licences. Chartered Environmentalist.Full Member of CIEEM.
