Wrote a server to interpret user-sent commands and call appropriate light module functions (such as turning on a particular color of light to a user-given value). For quick development, Python 3 was used; a C++ server was in development in case the system grew and needed to handle more lights per server.Designed 3D-printable models to aid in rapid assembly of the Phase 3 light modules, as well as easy testing apparatus (integrating sphere mount).Soldered wires to electrically test for issues with parts, determine errors, and find whether software or hardware was malfunctioning.Created assembly and testing procedures.

Learned PHP to debug LiteSpeed’s XenForo Cache plugin (PHP), and researched possible implementation of ESI. (Determined that implementing ESI tags by hand would not be feasible; suggested researching an automated tagging system instead.)Created child classes in existing C++ project (LiteSpeed Web ADC ZeroConfig feature, an API to automatically configure LiteSpeed load balancers and reduce administration overhead) to handle error messages, parse incoming commands, and authorize commands.
