Worked as a backend developer on First Data's Online Banking product. Feature enhancements included two factor authentication (security tokens), Acculynk SSO, two way SMS, E-Documents, and Targetted Notifications. Software development was done using perl and Oracle on Linux. Miscellaneous development tools included Jquery, Apache, git, Jira and javascript.

Worked on the development of Situation Understanding technology for U.S. Army’s Brigade Combat Team Modernization (BCT-M) to support war-fighters in the battle field. Worked on a number of different services including imagery, weather, cross domain solution, level 2 fusion, and threat refinement. Software development was done in C++/STL on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5. All of these projects were designed using Rational Rose for UML Modelling, had numerous design and code inspections, and required development of automated cppunit tests. Software development tools included RHEL5, C++, STL, Core Java, RMI, Rational ClearCase, Eclipse, WMIS, Make, Ant, OOP, Design Patterns and SoSCOE.

Part of the project team that developed Jonah, IBM's public key infrastructure for X.509 Certificates (PKIX) product. Ported Jonah from Windows NT to AIX and Solaris 7. Maintained the AIX version of PKIX for several internal releases. Jonah was written in C/C++/Java and used the ODE build environment.

* Designed, implemented, and tested a rules based shell that defined and controlled the Ultratouch environment on each QNX register. This process was written in C and had its own LISP-like rules language. This language was used to specify processes, their environment variables, their command lines, and the order that processes were to be spawned or shutdown. This process also trapped signals - if a process terminated for some reason then this process would automatically restart the terminated process. * In addition to the above systems programming responsibilities, this job included extensive Korn shell and awk programming. Ultratouch was written entirely in C.

Developed software for a company that specialized in Unix Compilers. I worked on front ends for Fortran, Pascal and PL/I.
