About Tom Santangelo

I love to tell a story with a camera. Whether it's a documentary or news feature, the visual element is a powerful tool. I've found that taking a series of images and editing them together can have just as much impact as the written word.This love of media led me to major in Communications and Media Studies with a concentration in Electronic Communication Technology. Since then, I have worked my way up from local TV/radio to a major network affiliate (FOX 29 Philadelphia), and have established my own production company, Hometown Media. I work with a variety of clients, like Cooper Hospital and PBS/WHYY, doing everything from filming surgical videos to producing specialty segments on craft beer!My strengths are documentaries, videography, and news media, as well as technology. I currently use a suite of professional software to do editing and production, and take pride in being able to turn out a flawless product. I am always looking for new and interesting clients to work with.
