Tom has worked on a range of research, advisory and consulting projects building expertise in law firm innovation, in-house legal department transformation, contracting, and the impact of data and technology in the law for RSG Consulting since 2018.He led the FT Intelligent Business project in 2019 and 2020, investigating the convergence of data, technology and professional services in areas such as financial services, supply chains, and in the legal technology market. Tom works on client advisory projects, undertaking client listening, market research and analysis, and strategic advisory work for law firms, legal service providers, technology companies, barristers' chambers and private equity investors. He is passionate about sustainability and the role of lawyers driving this agenda. With Pinsent Masons, Client Earth, and the Gratham Research Institute on Climate Change and Environment, he helped run the “GCs Leading the Net Zero Carbon Transition" event during London Climate Action Week 2019, and has a leading role on RSGI’s sustainability projects.
