Responsibilities-Providing direct user support to the 200+ staff on a day to day basis.-Project leader in a number of different improvements and solutions, including developing the existing support infrastructure for our product traceability system, implementing new Linux file server systems for our inspection image library, and planning our next stage of LAN upgrades to make our network more efficient.-Day to day running of the IT Department, including the allocation of tasks, priorities and distribution of equipment.-Management of personnel within the department including training and personal development.-Responsible for the overall confidentiality, integrity, and availability of production, office and security data within the company

Lance Corporal - Class 1 Communications Systems Operator7 years of highly specialised experience in a range of different military IT and communications platforms, data networks, and service provider to client support and maintenance tasks. Roles and Responsibilities- To provide robust and sustainable communications networks in support of commanders missions and intents both in peace time and on operations.- Responsible for managing, maintaining and operating a communications platform, detachment or small site- Supervise, mentor and conduct on the job training for subordinates in both core military skills and communications theory/practices. Key Achievements:- Two Operational Tours of Afghanistan – the first as a junior Network Administrator/IT Support Technician and the second working in a fast paced Signals Intelligence role.- Utilising my initiative I have overcome technical limitations of different types of communications equipments, both on exercise and when Deployed on Operations - can site examples.- Completion of in-house Class 1 Communication Systems Operator Course with an emphasis on large scale network/equipment deployment, in addition to project management and human resource management.- Consistently performing at the top edge of my peer group with performance reports to reflect this.
