Responsible for development and management of [up to] a $43 million annual budget. 23 years in dept; 21.5 as Director. Stepped out of this position as of Jan.2014 to focus on teaching, advising, program and course development, and scholarship (see Instructor position profile). Salem, Oregon

Interim Director for three months; March through May, 2016. Provided, on a part-time basis, leadership for a professional staff of eight, as well as 38 community mentors (RAs) and four interns (student paraprofessionals). Responsibilities included working with the HCL team to develop three new living-learning communities (LLCs) which were launched in Fall 2016; conducting a comprehensive campus-wide residential assessment using Skyfactor; and moving the assignments process to the Adirondack online system. Member of the Senior Campus Life Administrative Council (SCLAC). I held this position at WU while continuing to serve part time on the OSU faculty (see position immediately above), with the understanding that a permanent director would be selected to begin in June 2016.
