Architecture Planning, Design, and Engineering of Global Data Communication solutions for the Enterprise Network. • Designed a WAN solution to integrate a new Dallas regional Data Center to the existing Phoenix based Data Centers.• Architected and implemented a WAN solution to create a full mesh, resilient network to (6) Equinix Co-locations, supporting the Cloud / Edge requirements.• Architect, and lead implementation engineer of a Cisco SD Wan solution for the enterprise WAN. Internet transport and routing design for public and private data connectivity.• Engineered and deployed a private DWDM Metro ring (Phoenix), providing over 17Tb/s throughput and resulted in over $1M per year in operating cost savings.• Technical oversight of all carrier contracts for data services. Over 20 Service / Call Center locations and over 300 remote branch office locations.• Designed and implemented a multi-carrier MPLS WAN solution, creating a full mesh between all locations globally, eliminating legacy Frame-Relay/ATM technologies.• Migrated over 300 Remote branch offices from a Cisco (IOS) based platform to a JunOS based platform, and created VPN resiliency through Cellular/INET transport services.• Developed and deployed the QoS strategy in the Data Center and Enterprise network, to prioritize Real Time traffic (Voice, Video) and other critical applications across the Enterprise network.• Designed and implemented an Enterprise Multicast solution to enable the distribution of Market Data, Webcasts and other real time applications, significantly optimizing network bandwidth consumption.• Created network integration solutions for business acquisitions in order to facilitate data connectivity between disparate networks.
