About Tom Sechrist
I have been in the industrial maintenance field for 23 years. I started out as a 3rd shift line mechanic and have worked my way up through 2nd shift lead mechanic, 2nd shift supervisor, 1st shift supervisor to my current role as Maintenance Manager/Fleet Manager. In my 23 years I have gained an array of skills from basic mechanical, industrial electrician, controls, pneumatics, conveyance, forklifts, forklift batteries (in-depth), and exposure to a wide range of machinery from manufacturers all over the world.I also have a strong set of administrative skills including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and at least 3 maintenance management software suites. This also includes budgets and budget management. I am well versed in B.D.A., R.C.A. as well as a very strong conviction of the value of preventive maintenance programs. I have experience with TPM programs, Kaizan events, and 5S philosophies. I feel my years of experience across multiple industries, my passion for what I do, and my skill sets make me a valuable asset and partner to any organization.
