• Complete design engineer responsibility for the D6/D6T Track Type Tractor Track Roller Frame. Works on New Product Introduction for next generation of machines, design optimization for weight / cost and worldwide sourcing for castings, reliability, fabrications and manufacturing fixtures. Conducted Concurrent Product and Process Development with both domestic and overseas suppliers. Ensured quality product by in-depth knowledge of manufacturing including knowledge of UT inspection. Conducted cost reduction projects by should-cost modeling skills and programs.• Track Roller Frame engineer for D7E Track Type Tractors for Continuous Product Improvement and reliability improvements.

• Conducted testing for ISO regulatory safety Certification and documented testing results for Rollover Protection Structures, Falling Object Protective Structures, Operator Protective Structures and Seat Belt Pull Testing for Caterpillar machinery. Acquired large load measurements, displacements, and strain gage outputs on large structures • Lead team members, conducted test planning and managed budgets with process partners including year-long programs• Conducted collaborations as the central expert on validation testing, design/analysis standards interpretation along with working with corporate safety and regulations• Mentored new test engineers by coaching and monitoring them through smaller tests• Maintained ISO9001 certification for lab• Lead the test lab as one of first labs at a facility to be externally certified for ISO17025 accreditation.
