Software Architect for Instrument Manager System Software prototype that performs sequencing and analysis. The architecture is a small SpringBoot web server exposing Authentication and ReST APIs that are consumed by instruments’ software and analysis software. As proof of-concept it laid the foundation for a future system.- Built a team.- Led the project and transitioned it to Scrum and Agile methodologies giving structure to product development.- Laid the foundations for system design to be used in future sequencer products.- Successfully MVP linking of the hardware sensors to control software, and simulated results to secondary analysis computer.

As a system architect, I guided the development of our cloud-based video recording solution. We deployed the initial system using Rails, AWS, CloudFront, Docker and FFMPEG. This resulted in a positive customer integration.I led development of showcase web and mobile applications for the platform and product integration materials as a developer evangelist.I identified existing valuable IP, prepared patent specifications, and filed patents to develop investor value for potential VCs.Conference Presenter at WebRTC symposia and developer meetups.

I created Sensr.net jointly with my co-founders. Sensr.net is an open platform for analyzing, archiving and streaming data from internet-connected IP cameras. We built a scalable system capable of absorbing upload data from millions of data producers.My primary focus was the video pipeline. I architected, developed and deployed our scalable video pipeline for absorbing a combination of RTSP and HLS video formats through HTTP and FTP.I led our joint-engineering project with Ambarella and Chicony by producing specifications, leading meetings and developing test integration procedures. This resulted in the product launch of an H.264 IP-enabled camera from Chicony that integrated with Sensr.net.Startup activities included meeting with VCs, drafing patent specifications and filing patents. I also bought the office furniture and helped make it a comfortable place for our small team.

My work spanned two broad categories: Verification and Memory ArchitectureAs a manager, I led the development of simulation models and Verification IP used in our joint development programs with IBM and Sony. This resulted in a successful integration of Rambus PHYs and Memory Interfaces in the Sony Playstation PS3.As a Memory Architect, I drafted patent specifications for advanced DRAM memory architectures.Awards: Distinguished Inventor. Best Paper Award for CDN Live! 2006.
