I have been with GB Labs for over 11 years. I first joined as a Developer and through my time here I have progressed to the position of Chief Product Officer. The primary language I use is Python and have been programming with it for almost 5 years now. Much of my recent work has also been web based and I have used many languages and tools for this. The main combination is Django and jQuery. This allows me to generate fast and efficient websites in a short amount of time. I have experience using MySQL, but I have also been looking into other databases such as PostgreSQL. I have also developed programs in other languages, such as Java, C, C# and PHP. Recently I have started working on some projects for the Android OS, specifically games. Learning games development has long been a passion of mine and Android seemed like the perfect environment for it, as it allows me to create small games on an OS which is gaining mass popularity. For now my Android projects are for my own enjoyment, but once they become more mature I would like to release them to the world.I am also currently working on a project for a networked device using python and django. Unfortunately I can't give many more details just yet!In 2009 I received a 2:1 in Computer Science at the University of Bath. For my dissertation paper, InterNets: Interactive Design and Execution of Interaction Nets, I received a first. The program was developed using Python and ther Tkinter GUI toolkit.
