Activities are centered around system verification. Responsibilities start during the requirements development and allocation phase. WSS and SSS requirements must be properly developed and allocated to ensure a smooth Contract Closeout at program end. The Integration Engineer (IE) maintains the Verification Cross-Reference Matrix (VCRM). The VCRM tracks the requirements (WSS, WSS-A, SSS), their verification methods and responsible IPTs/test events. The VCRM is updated as verifications occur and should verify all requirements at JVRB. Change Requests (CRs) and Problem Reports (PRs) are processed, as well as Requests for Variance (RFVs) as necessary. The IE also performs HW/SW Configuration (HSC) Management by tracking all HW and SW changes in the HSC Matrix (HSCM). The HSCM along with test events, results, verifications, PRs resolved, new PRs, new capabilities and new functions are delivered and reported along with each SW release in the SW Release Memo (SRM) and Project Coordination Memo (PCM).

Analyze requirements, create Test Plans and Test Procedures, submit and defend documents at technical review events, execute Test Procedures, support development, integration, and execution of test pass/fail quantitative metrics. Document results and create Test Reports. Ensure HW & SW is integrated in the lab according to the program schedule, write Problem Reports, verify PRs are verified as corrected and new PRs are investigated, documented, and tracked to closure. Support Functional Homeroom people and process activities. Manage personal earned value. Find ways to reduce risk, cost and schedule. Support management of performance, cost and schedule for each program.

Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) for Presidential Helicopter Training Systems including flight simulators, maintenance trainers and part task trainers. Participated in and led an Integrated Product Team of Subject Matter Expert Engineers through the technical management and performance of the engineering functions related to training systems acquisition, development, and operational support. The acquisition LSE develops technical evaluation criteria and evaluates technical proposals, work statements and cost breakdowns, conducts design review conferences, clarifies engineering design ambiguities, highlights areas of design deficiency, and resolves conflicts in the proposed engineering technical approach. A common task is to modify existing training systems to satisfy new or additional documented training requirements. He must be a strong leader because he must leverage the knowledge and support of the Subject Matter Experts in his Integrated Product Team through projects from beginning to end, concept formulation, contract definition, proposal evaluation, source selection, contract technical management and test, evaluation and acceptance.

Worked in NASA Facilities Electrical Engineering. Proofread, analyzed and reviewed blueprints, specifications and plans for construction, maintenance and upgrades of KSC facilities.
