Working as a business consultant for an emerging technologies project. Upgrading company wide to Windows 10, and Office 365. The purpose of this project is to improve collaboration among Xcel Energy employees. This also includes updating many conference rooms with the Microsoft Surface Hub.

I am part of the change management team that is tasked with rolling out the training of SAP at Xcel Energy. I work with business leaders across the organization to build and communicate the training program. The training program will be training over 13,000 employees across many different business units in seven different states.

• Assists the Classification Specialists in making determinations on appropriate Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) code, financial disclosure code, bargaining unit status (BUS) codes and position sensitivity designations for all actions.• The position reviews, monitors, and tracks MRP requests for classification related personnel actions (SF-52’s) for assigned programs and agencies for accuracy of position data.• Coordinates with the National Finance Center (NFC) on all re-organizations, re-structuring, and re-titling projects. Performs mass realignment actions and monitors movement of positions under the corresponding new organizational structure codes.

My primary responsibilities were assisting with recruiting, job analysis and job classification. In addition, I also assisted with numerous small projects with elections, building benefits packets, and generalist duties.

Assisting the human resources director with day to day human resources activities like posting city job opportunities and creating: job descriptions, supplemental questions, panel interview questions, as well as taking part in panel interviews. In addition I have been working on two major projects for 2014:Developing the 2014 Wellness ProgramCreating an on-boarding program

Assisted HR generalists in day-to-day support. This included Onboarding, Off boarding, updating employee folders, running background checks, creating orientation packets and other miscellaneous tasks.
