I specialise in understanding the day-to-day needs of mid-market businesses. I am based in the South West as part of the KPMG Corporate Finance department.Central to my role is helping the Owners and Management of privately-owned businesses to realise their strategic ambitions via capital transactions. This often starts well in advance of any transaction, helping to ensure that strategic planning delivers maximum future value. Relevant types of transaction cover the full range of:- Sale to UK or International trade parties;- Acquisitions, whether bolt-ons or platform;- Management buy-outs and buy-ins;- Capital raising, whether via private equity/venture capital or third party debt;- Inter-generational transition at family businesses;- Non-core disposals;- Corporate venturing; and - Mergers, joint ventures and commercial alliances.Our differentiators are our demonstrable breadth of deal completions, our access into our national and international network and our sector expertise, which within a largely sector agnostic approach has seen us develop pockets of niche sector expertise including in the human capital, eCommerce, food and drink, automotive, specialist manufacturing, healthcare and technology sectors.
