Providing quality assurance for a range of fire risk assessment assessors and ultimately helping people to be safer where they live.

I am currently head of organizational and community resilience for HFRS and I'm also senior responsible officer for some of the key service delivery redesign work streams around workforce and systems projects.I am also responsible for the geographical areas for the North Group and East Hants Group which consist of twenty stations made up from on call and whole time teams.

Community protection is at the heart of everything we do, whether that be responding to emergency incidents or delivering community education. I am responsible for ensuring that this is delivered across the Easington District using 7 teams comprising of 84 people using both on call teams and full time teams.In addition to managing our teams in terms of competence, operational readiness, welfare support and so on, I am also an integral part of our service Incident Command System and attend operational incidents to take command or offer support and guidance to the teams already dealing with an incident.
