With over a decade of experience in the lighting industry and a broad background in sculpture, architecture and manufacturing, Tom Simon is passionate about the convergence of aesthetics, function, materiality, and modularity in lighting and the built environment. He holds a BS in Studio Art from University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MFA in Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University, an MPS in Lighting Design from the New York School of Lighting Design, and is Lighting Certified by the NCQLP.As the Director of Design and Product Development at Juniper, Simon oversees the process of conceptualizing, developing, and launching new architectural lighting products that elevate the visual form, performance, and energy efficiency of projects across commercial, hospitality, and residential settings, collaborating with designers and engineers to deliver products that meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and customer satisfaction.
