Cycle Oregon is a 30 year old non-profit that creates and executes fully supported bicycling trips sharing the amazing roads and vistas of Oregon with riders from around the state, country and world. The organization was founded with the goals, through cycling events and the revenue raised, to help revitalize rural communities hard hit by decline in logging and other extractive industries, and to foster conversations to help bridge the urban/rural divide in the state. My duties include overseeing marketing and media, sponsorship, and music/entertainment booking. After a transition from existing person handling the following responsibilities, I will also be tasked with creating and permitting event routes.
