Responsibilities include:- Leading the budgeting/forecasting process for the two power station business units in addition to the ATCO Gas Australia multi-million dollar annual capital expenditure program;- Ownership of the life cycle models for the two power stations used to determine that ongoing operation and investment remain economically viable, as well as consideration of future business growth opportunities;- Provision of strategic and commercial support in relation to managing the underlying business performance, ad hoc projects and new business growth opportunities;- Finance representative within Joint Venture Board Meetings and Operating Committee;- Participation in the coordination, compilation and review of key monthly deliverables to the Directors and Canadian parent entity including Directors Report, Internal Management Report and financial variance analysis and commentary;- Coaching, mentoring and assisting two fully qualified direct reports;- Review of monthly forecasts and annual budgets;- Review of monthly billing models and invoices in line with relevant governing contracts;- Presentation of monthly business unit results to relevant General Managers;- Drive implementation of standard policies and procedures for the business units;- Review of annual financial statements;- Assist in the coordination and management of the external audit.
