    Managing Director, in the Investment Companies team, one of the sector’s most longstanding teams (previously at Canaccord Genuity, Dresdner Kleinwort and Nat West Markets), leading corporate broking and new origination activities. The team has circa 28 blue-chip investment company clients across conventional and alternative investment companies, including some of the largest and longstanding companies in the sector (including Alliance Trust, HICL Infrastructure, Monks, and Pantheon International). Notable transactions that I have led or co-led:- IPO of Cordiant Digital Infrastructure (CORD) in February 2021, raising £370m. Transaction led from idea inception to execution during lock-down for a record launch size for a blind-pool infrastructure IPO. A further £418m raised for the company through innovative subscription shares (£33m), a £185m C Share within 6 months and a £200m placing in January 2022.- IPO of Pantheon Infrastructure (PINT) in November 2021, raising £400m (significantly oversubscribed and scaled back), with a further £81m raised through subscription shares. Set a new benchmark for size of new launches in the sector. - £1.265bn raised for The Renewables Infrastructure Group (TRIG) through multiple primary fundraisings including a total of £228m in 2019, £320m in 2020, £440m in 2021 and £277m in 2022. - The £1bn merger of Murray Income (MUT) and Perpetual Income & Growth (PLI) in November 2020.- The Strategic Review of the £614m Scottish Investment Trust (SCIN) and subsequent £1.4bn merger with JPMorgan Global Growth & Income (JGGI) in August 2022.- The appointment of Majedie as investment manager of the £1.2bn Edinburgh Investment Trust following a review of management arrangements in March 2020.
