In this role I have leadership over a number of projects, ranging from small scale developments to Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects. My main responsibilities include providing initial advice to potential clients and maintaining a point of contact with them when progressing projects through the concept, planning, implementation and operational phases.I oversee the preparation of reports such as Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Assessments, Environmental Statements, shadow Habitat Regulations Assessments as well as bespoke reports specific to client requirements.I also design and supervise project survey programmes that facilitate the needs of clients, with regard to industry standards. I have extensive experience of undertaking Phase 1 habitat surveys, detailed botanical surveys (including NVC and ancient woodland assessments), in addition to faunal surveys for bats, Badgers, Dormice, Otters, Water Voles, Amphibians, Reptiles, breeding birds and wintering birds.

In my supporting role I ensured that every class based activity was delivered on time and to the highest standards. As lead chemistry technician it was my duty to manage chemical stores (including toxic, corrosive and explosive materials) and maintain specialist equipment. I had to train staff on health and safety protocols and undertake audits on related procedures. I also assisted in the delivery of class based activities, ensureing that lesson aims and objectives were met by pupils.

As a field surveyor I was required to conduct a range of surveys for a suite of protected species. I performed reptiles surveys and translocations and supervised mitigation works as well as completing Dormouse and bat surveys.

As a member of the Front of House team, I ensured I was a welcoming face, building rapport with all our customers. I also took responsibility for ensuring the establishment was well presented and convivial. I was also involved with creating ideas for publishing and advertising events and training new members of staff.

Working as a field bat surveyor I had to be adaptable and available to undertake survey work. I undertook a number of emergence and re-entry surveys on trees and buildings.

My duties were focused on providing exceptional customer service as well as many other tasks related to the presentation of the shopfront and management of stocks. I had the responsibility of handling money, processing deliveries and training temporary staff.

Working as a field assistant for a Ph.D student I was given key responsibilities in many aspects of theproject such as; collection of behavioural data, physiological sample collection and cataloguing,analysing video footage of complex behaviours and data input, cleaning and sorting. I also created content to inform and advertise the project.
