My father formerly owned and operated Simpkin & James Wines in Leicester, but it was my mother, an international hair stylist from Barrow upon Soar (Jane Gilks) to whom I attribute my drive and determination to succeed.“My mother instilled the values of hard work, manners and what it takes to succeed from an early age.
