1. Specialist in the Product Assembly and Woodworking sector in terms of types of hot melt adhesive used and troubleshooting within the application.2. A development team member who is crossed trained in various other sectors such as packaging and pressure sensitive adhesive technology providing support to other members of the laboratory team.3. Completion of customer projects within a 10 day turnaround time. Involves the analysis of competitor adhesives, recommending an adhesive from the current Beardow Adams portfolio or developing a new adhesive specifically for the application in question. Once the tests have been completed, a final report is then written outlining findings and sent to the customer for evaluation.4. Completion of developmental projects. Involves the development of new adhesives from scratch to suit each applications requirements and assessing new raw materials and potential suitability within current adhesive formulations taking into considering performance and cost.5. Researching and keeping up to date with the various new technologies which are relevant to the hot melt adhesive industry.6. Various different meetings with customer globally in order to provide technical support for their individual applications.7. Planning and running of the Global Partner training webinar for new starters within the hot melt adhesive industry. Conducting presentations in all the various sectors where a hot melt adhesive is used.8. Member of the social committee having an active role in planning of company events such as the summer BBQ and Christmas party. Active role during lockdown , organises company quiz evenings to promote a healthy work ethos.9. Designated first aider for the development laboratory.
