Building on 10 years supervisory and management experience in international ocean and intermodal transportation; 13 years managing my own retail and wholesale businesses; and several years in technical support and commercial presales for HP and one of the earliest ASP aggregators in the dot.com space, I enjoyed the last 14 years before retirement working at one of the great innovators in the GPS vertical applications industry, Trimble Navigation Ltd. Working in the ready-mix and aggregate delivery fleet management vertical, I first applied my organization skills in customer implementation of proprietary hardware and software solutions. During my tenure managing the implementation function, our division grew from 40 to over 200 customers, and I managed a team of implementation project managers deploying solutions throughout North America, Latin America, EMEA, Australia, and East Asia.For the last 7 years, I managed the Global Supply Chain function of my division, based on my prior experience in international logistics. In this role, I managed a team executing the procurement and order fulfillment functions, focusing on production, demand planning & forecasting, international logistics, liaison with engineering and PM team on NPI planning, and E&O inventory management.
