I have been involved in Law Enforcement since I graduated in 1977. I orginally applied and was accepted to the Federal Bureau of Investigation even before I graduated but after investigating what it would cost to live and attend college in the Washington, D.C. area, I turned down the appointment. The same year that I graduated high, my brother graduated from Texas A&M and got his first teaching job in Kilgore, Texas. I moved out there with him and began my career with Tyler Police Department and started Tyler Junior College, as well. After driving back and forth for about eight months, I went to work for Kilgore Police Department, going through the academy in 1978. To shorten this a bit, over the years to follow, I worked for Mineral Wells Police Department, Palo Pinto Sheriff's Office, Springtown Police Department, Parker County Sheriff's Office, Tarrant County Sheriff's Office, Cross Timbers Narcotics Task Force, US Civpol with UNTAET(United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor), Jack County Sheriff's Office and now Jack County Constable. I am a Texas Master Peace Officer, Master Jailer, Instructor and Firearms Instructor. I've served in many positions.I am married to a lady that I met originally in 1984 while I was Chief of Police in Springtown, Texas. After not seeing her for over 25 years, we met again over the internet, Facebook, and begin to develop a relationship and was married about six months later. I have two sons, from a previous marraige, that have lived with me since 2002. They are now 21, will be 22 in March, and 19. They haven't been angels every step of the way but I love them wholeheartedly and cherish every second with them. I also have two step-daughters now as well. One of those is 24 and she has two daughters and what is reportedly to be, a little boy on the way. The other step-daughter is 20 and she has one daughter of her own. The second step-daughter is also pregnant with what is reportedly also a little girll.
