Most of my career has been focused in one way or another in the public service industries. As far back as my college internships at the local water district and the department of justice most of my work experience has been in an effort to make my community a little bit better than it already was. In my current position I have chosen to teach and coach (I stopped coaching at the end of the 2021-22 school year) in my own town, trying to give the next generation of leaders the foundation they need to reach their own goals.Update: July 2023 saw a major change as I retired from Allen ISD and relocated to Southern California so my youngest could continue his high school education in Laguna Beach (the same high school I graduated from in 1987). He had some challenges that were best solved with a geographic change. Now (March 2024) I am in Orange County and just starting to identify possibilities for what comes next.
